MASS/GRAVITY IS AN ERRONEOUS CONCEPT BASED ON KEPLER'S MEASUREMENT THAT PLANETS SPEED UP AND SLOW DOWN IN ORBIT, AN OBSERVATION THAT ASSUMED EQUAL DISTANCE WHEN IN FACT THE RATE IS UNIFORM WITH THE PLANETS TRAVELING DIFFERENT DISTANCES.

WITH THE FORMULA RATE EQUALS DISTANCE DIVIDED BY TIME, A DECREASE IN TIME COULD RESULT FROM AN INCREASE IN RATE OR A DECREASE IN DISTANCE. BECAUSE KEPLER DIDN'T ACCOUNT FOR THE MOVEMENT OF THE SUN, HE CONCLUDED THAT THE DECREASE IN TIME IN THE WINTER WAS THE RESULT OF A INCREASE IN THE RATE OF THE PLANET, RATHER THAN THE MEASURABLE DECREASE IN THE DISTANCE THE PLANET TRAVELED.

HOW NEWTON MADE HIS MASS/GRAVITY MISTAKE
The mistake at the basis of modern science is the same as the mistake at the basis of pre-modern science, a mistake of appearance. Because the sun appears to move around the Earth, the preCopernicans concluded that the Earth was at the center of the universe.

Because the moon appears to speed up in the summer, modern science has concluded that the planets speed up and slow down as they move around the sun, giving rise to the made up fact of mass/gravity.

Tycho Brahe measured the moon speeding up in the summer and slowing down in the winter. Because he thought the Earth was the center of the universe, it didn't dawn on him that it might be moving, and that the Earth's movement might be giving the moon the appearance of changing speed when in fact the moon was moving at a uniform rate, just covering less distance in the summer.

Kepler, Brahe's student, didn't buy the Earth as the center of the universe. However, with the Earth moving around the sun, it didn't occur to him that the sun might also be moving. Therefore, when he also measured the moon speeding up in the summer and slowing down in the winter, he, too, concluded it changed speed as it moved around the Earth. He didn't realize that the Earth, and therefore the moon, was traveling the shorter distance between the winter and summer solstices because the movement of the sun was moving those solstices in a direction opposite to the Earth's movement.

Kepler, therefore, didn't find it at all strange to conclude when he measured Mars as it traveled different distances in its orbit because of the sun's movement, that Mars was also changing speed as it orbited the sun. As a result, he made up a law that stated that the closer a planet moves to the sun, the faster it goes, when in fact, the planets do not speed up or slow down, each moves around the sun at a uniform rate.

Newton, buying into Kepler's idea that a planet speeded up the closer it got to the sun, tried to mathematically correlate this idea with the actual physical measurement of falling bodies on Earth which accelerate inversely with the square of the distance over which they fall. In this way, he could say that the planets were falling toward the sun just like a rock fell toward Earth. To support this rather bizarre idea, that a rock falling to the surface of the Earth is the same as a planet going around the sun, Newton made up all sorts of concepts, frictionless space, a God that put the planets in motion and an attractive force that was a property of the matter toward which things fall.

Newton attempted to prove the relationship between matter and the force that makes matter fall by making the force proportional to matter and then computing the movement of the moon with respect to the force that would be produced by the volume of matter in the Earth and the moon. His prediction that the force would result in the moon moving in accordance with the inverse square law failed, the moon being too large to stay in orbit.

When, after Newton's death, the same mathematical predictions were found to be grossly inapplicable to all other heavenly bodies, the Royal Society decided that, rather than dump the prestigious Newton, it would just say that because the rate at which objects fall is measurable, it follows an inverse square law, the inverse square law doesn't have to be proven on a planetary basis by the amount of force matter would produce by volume. Instead, because it is clear that the planets move around the sun the same way that rocks fall, the inverse square law dealing with falling objects can be applied to the movement of the planets to determine how much matter they contain, their density or mass.

The beauty of this reversal of logic was that the authorities holding the wisdom about the forces at work in the universe would never again have to face the embarrassment experienced when it was discovered that it was the Earth that was going around the sun rather than the sun that was going around the Earth. There was no way to measure the actual density of a planet so no one could ever disprove mass/gravity's predictions, and while in a secular world God could be replaced as the motive force of the planets simply by making up a historic force that was no longer subject to current examination, the fact that the planets appeared to move in their orbits on a regular basis was sufficient to make predictions of location that mass/gravity could then claim as verification of the relationship itself, that objects fall because of a property of mass, even though mass/gravity is a straight line force that provides no explanation for planetary orbiting.

The only facts we do have to deal with are that

1. There is an attractive force
2. That the attractive force makes objects accelerate with the square of the distance over which they fall and therefore must diminish inversely with the square of the distance from its source
3. That the attractive force is associated with matter in some way because that is what objects fall toward
4. That planets don't speed up and slow down, they move at a uniform rate (think about it!)
5. That things move as a result of current, rather than historical forces
6. And that, because the distances the planets move between the two solstices vary, the absolute speed and direction of the sun in space can be calculated (and it doesn't support the modern day creation myth of the Big Bang!)
7. In addition, mass/gravity, being a concept for a straight line force, produces no explanation for planetary orbiting, and the mass/gravity relationship, itself, has never been verified (seventeenth century electrostatic legerdemain performed to this day notwithstanding).

What the attractive force is therefore is up for grabs.

Other facts we also have are that

1.  Matter combusts, it burns
2.  It produces emissions as it does so
3.  The emissions diminish inversely with the square of the distance from their source
4.  The emissions diminish uniformly

Because matter does something, combusts, and in doing that something, produces something, an electromagnetic emission, and because that something diminishes inversely with the square of its distance from its source, there is a mathematical relationship between what the expanding electromagnetic spectrum is doing and what the matter within the expanding electromagnetic spectrum is doing, the one diminishing inversely with the square of its distance from the matter, the other accelerating within the emissions with the square of the distance it moves toward the matter.

And, because emissions expand uniformly, it is probable that they have an associated mechanism that regulates their uniform expansion.

The search for the attractive force should therefore center on what the mechanism is that regulates the uniform expansion of an emission field and how that mechanism acts on matter to move matter back toward the source of the emissions.

Regardless of what makes objects fall, the made-up fact of mass/gravity, based as it is on the appearance of the moon speeding up and slowing down in orbit with the seasons, fails in light of the above graphic from At The Gates Of The Citadel, which shows that it is the variable distance that the Earth travels between solstices that gives rise to the appearance of the moon speeding up in
